Privacy Policy
Last updated: 04.11.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sixth Technology Ltd ("we", "our", or "the Company") collects and uses data when you use the 6th Mind App.
1. What we collect
We collect your name and email address for registration purposes. We also collect your questionnaire answers, linked to your account, to personalize and improve your experience. If you use Mental wellbeing, we also process voice recordings and the results derived from them, as described in section 2.
2. Mental wellbeing (voice recordings)
Mental wellbeing is an optional feature. We use it only after you give your explicit consent in the app, and you can stop using it at any time.
- Recording: when you take a check, the app records about one minute of you talking about an everyday topic and sends it over an encrypted connection to our servers. There it is analysed by an AI model that runs on our own servers. The recording is never sent to third parties. The app uses your phone's microphone only while you record a check, and only after you have allowed it.
- The recording is deleted as soon as it has been analysed. If it cannot be analysed, it is deleted within two days at the latest. We do not use recordings for any other purpose.
- What we keep: your Wellbeing score and the measurements it is calculated from (the model's estimates of voice markers associated with low mood and anxiety), the time of the check, the topic you talked about, and whether the check was taken before or after a session.
- How we use it: to show your score and how it changes over time in My activity, to suggest sessions for your routine, and to improve how the score is calculated.
- Your control: you can delete any check from the last 30 days in My activity; for older checks, write to [email protected]. Deleting your account deletes all your recordings and results. To withdraw your consent and have your results deleted while keeping your account, write to [email protected].
Because these results relate to your wellbeing, we treat them as health data and process them only on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR).
Mental wellbeing is not a medical device and does not provide a diagnosis. If you are worried about your mental health, please talk to a doctor or a mental health professional.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your user profile
- To recommend personalized AVE session sequences
- To improve app performance and functionality
- To respond to user feedback
- To send you important service communications about your account, security, and material changes to the app or these terms
4. Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Only authorized personnel have access to your personal data.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except when legally required.
6. Communications
We may contact you by email for two distinct purposes:
- Service communications: messages necessary to provide the app, such as account and security notices, responses to your requests, and notifications about material changes to the app, these terms, or this Privacy Policy. Because these are essential to the service, they are sent to all registered users and cannot be opted out of while you keep an account.
- Marketing communications: optional messages about new features, session packs, offers, and news. We send these only with your prior consent, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the service communications above.
7. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above.
- Account data: retained while your account is active. You can delete your account directly from the app at any time; in that case the account and the personal data associated with it are deleted immediately. If you request deletion by email at [email protected], we process the request and erase your personal data within 30 days.
- Mental wellbeing: recordings are deleted right after analysis (within two days at the latest if the analysis fails). Results are kept while your account is active and are deleted with it. Checks that could not be scored are deleted after 30 days.
- Backups: residual copies of data in our encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days of deletion as part of our standard backup rotation cycle.
- Legal exceptions: where applicable law requires a longer retention period (for example, accounting records under Bulgarian law), we retain the minimum data necessary to meet that obligation.
8. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Your continued use of the app implies acceptance of the changes.
10. GDPR compliance
Sixth Technology Ltd complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only collect and process personal data on a lawful basis, with your informed consent, and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
